I'm thrilled to announce my involvement in the creation of Laconia's newest speakeasy, The Candy Bar. This exciting project encompasses a full spectrum of my expertise, from the ground-up design of the bar itself to the development of a completely original, craft cocktail menu.
In this role, I'm responsible for crafting a unique and immersive speakeasy experience, ensuring every detail – from the layout and ambiance to the glassware and garnishes – aligns with the bar's distinctive concept. The drink menu will feature exclusively my own meticulously crafted recipes, showcasing innovative flavor combinations and premium ingredients.
Beyond the design and menu creation, I'm also leading the comprehensive training of the bar staff, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to execute the menu with precision and flair. As the bar's opening approaches in May 2025, I'll be taking on the role of managing operations, ensuring the seamless execution of our vision and delivering an unforgettable experience to every guest.
The Candy Bar represents a culmination of my passion for bartending and bar design, and I'm eager to bring a truly exceptional craft cocktail destination to Laconia.
